NDIWULIRA- UNBS ROAD COMMISSIONED FOR TARMAC
The Mayor Kira Municipal Council His Worship Julius Mutebi Nsubuga has today commissioned the upgrading of Agenda- Mbalwa

road linking to Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine from Kireka, decongesting Kyaliwajala Junction.
Mutebi on the same day waved off the upgrading of Ndiwulira road (1.6KM) to tarmack too aiming at reducing jam from Naalya-Kiwatule,

Kyambogo and Kamuli heading to Bweyogere.
He said that Mbalwa road is much used during the Nmugongo Martyrs pilgrim period of 3rd June when many of the roads around get closed

and diverted, that its upgrading will be a great achievement in decongesting Kyaliwajala. This project is going to be funded partly by the Kira

Municipal Council using property tax and, the community through Public Private Partnership while Ndiwulira road is to be constructed using

Property tax and Road Fund financing. Both projects are expected to be completed within a period of two months leaving other factors constant
