Kira municipal Council like any other government institution receives funding from the Central government, development partners and Locally Raised Revenue and spends it on priorities approved in the budget and authorized by the Ministry of Finance following different financial laws.

As mandated by different laws to make all public information readily available for public consumption and scrutiny as a means of promoting transparency and accountability, the Municipal accounting officer every end of a financial year compiles a list of projects implemented in the previous or ending financial year. Below is the list of projects implemented, contractor and project cost in the financial year 2025/26.
